ゲームの初期はエスコートに傭う船などは値段で決めていましたが、
訳してみると、結構、ひどいことが書いてあるのに気が付きました。

14241 : Second-Hand Terrapin - poor

This Terrapin looks even more pathetic than most of the Terrapins out there.
This guy is offering his services very cheaply in an obvious attempt to keep himself and his ship flying.
However, you get the sinking feeling that you will have your work cut out for you protecting this poor excuse for a ship.

このTerrapinはここにある他のTerrapinよりもいっそう哀れに見える。
この男は非常に安い価格で彼の船と彼の冒険的な同行を申し出ている。
しかし、あなたはこの船に対するちゃちな言い訳を聞く事によって仕事が難しくなりそうな事に気が滅入った。

という感じに訳しましたが、いまいちしっくりこないといいますか、
意味を把握できていないような気がして……。
