ghc 7.10.3 の ghci 上での :sprint について

Prelude> let x = 1
Prelude> :sprint x
x = _
Prelude> x
1
Prelude> :sprint x
x = _

こうなるんだが、これが正常なの？
最後、x = 1 と表示されるのを期待したんだが。
