一つのactivityから複数のインテントを発行する場合の処理の順番ってどうなってるんですか？

String url = "http://hoge";
Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse(url));
startActivity(intent);

wait(1000);

String url = "http://fuga";
Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, Uri.parse(url));
startActivity(intent);

こんな感じのソースだとwaitが効かないんですが。。。
やりたいことは時間差でブラウザを立ち上げることです。
