Perlでいうところの関数のリファレンスを変数に格納して実行するにはどうすればいいのでしょうか？

$func_ref = \&func;
$func_ref->();

--- Ruby ---
def method
print 'method'
end

method_ref = ????
method_ref.call??


こうするしかないのかな？
