unicode文字列をprintに渡してるんなら、また別の問題がある。
printはunicodeを受け取ると、sys.stdout.encodingに従ってそれを
変換しようと試みるが、sys.stdout.encodingは環境次第だ。
多分asciiか何かになってんだろう
もともとpythonのstdin/stdoutのencodingはリダイレクトに弱い。

自分でエンコーディングを指定してバイト列に変換してからprintに渡せ。
