代入するのは無理。
つーか Integer.parseInt(str)も、Stringをintに代入しているわけじゃないぞ。

intの値の文字列表現を作ることは出来る。
String str = String.valueOf(a);
とすると、int型のaの値の10進表現文字列を作ってくれる。
