GCCとMakeの質問です。

Apacheモジュールからpostgresへつなげる処理を
作っているのですが、
Makeしたときに"closesocket"関数がpostgres.hとport.h内で再定義(redefined)された
という警告が出力されます。
こういう場合、何か回避するよい方法がありますでしょうか？

今のところpostgres側のヘッダ(port.h)に
#define closesocket pg_closesocket
とかすればよいのだろうかと考えていますがどのような影響があるかわからず躊躇しています。
