フィールドとプロパティの違い

public struct Square
{
　　public double Width = 0;

　　public int Area
　　{
　　　　set
　　　　{
　　　　　　Width = System.Math.Sqrt( value );
　　　　}
　　　　get
　　　　{
　　　　　　return Width * Width;
　　　　}
　　}
}

Widthがpublicフィールド、Areaがプロパティ。

Square square;
square.Width = 2.0;
Console.WriteLine( square.Area.ToString() );
square.Area = 9.0;
Console.WriteLine( square.Width.ToString() );

実行結果
4.0
3.0
