渦中の人ではないが、面白そうなのでちょっと調べてみた...

辞書："artificial intelligence"
The ability of a computer or other machine to perform those activities that are normally thought to require intelligence.

医学事典："intelligence"
The capacity to acquire and apply knowledge, especially toward a purposeful goal.

ここで"learn"ではなく"acquire"を使っている事から、この医学事典では自発的に知識を獲得するという機能は知能には必須ではないと解釈しているようだ。
したがって脱衣麻雀も人工知能ということか.....夢がねえな（笑
