一部抜粋

FileOutputStream ostream = new FileOutputStream("data.txt");
ObjectOutputStream p = new ObjectOutputStream(ostream);
p.writeObject(list);
p.flush();
ostream.close();

のようにArrayListを書き込んで

FileInputStream istream = new FileInputStream("data.text");
ObjectInputStream p = new ObjectInputStream(istream);
list2 = (ArrayList)p.readObject();
istream.close();

のようにArrayListに読み込ませてみたのですが
int i = list2.size();ではiは0になってしまいます。
デバックでも見てみてのですがlist2に読み込まれていません。
何がいけないのでしょうか？
