セッションに入っているのは文字列。setAttribute() でやったとき
String 型のオブジェクトを入れたでしょ。だから取り出すときは

String str = (String)session.getAttribute("Moji");

多分 1 文字だけの文字列が入っていると思うので、

char ch = str.charAt(0);
