Q. What is QBasic?
A. QBasic is a BASIC, in the same way as a racehorse with a broken leg is still a racehorse.
QBasic's limited features and inherent constraints make it beloved by 16 year-olds and others who don't know any better.
Like a racehorse with a broken leg, it should be shot.
