I have found that OpenOffice runs slow and locks up until you save the file.
The reason it does so is because it is trying to back up what you have done but can't do so.
That said, when I start a new file I save it, then start typing and it runs fine.

この明白なバグさえ治れば、科学の分野でも使えるのだけどねぇ。惜しいです。
Windows用にはこのバグないのですか？
