これは誤りかなと思いながら書いたのだが、やはり誤りだったようだ。
LAMEはL/R/M/Sチャンネルを同じ心理音響モデルで扱っている。
しかし internal thresholds まで同じということではないようだ。
個人的にはジョイントステレオが原因で生じるアーティファクトの特徴
に関する疑問の一部がこれで解けたような気がしている。

spellsound を LAME 3.96.1 --preset cbr 128 や -V5 --athaa-sensitivity 1 で
エンコードしたときに最初の「シャーン」の10kHz以上の音が右から左に漏れている
ように聴こえるのはおそらく threshold の違いが原因だと思われる。
