System Safety Monitor 2.0 beta 2 was released.
First of all, the core engine has been refactored. Now rules are processed asynchronously
(Windows 2000/XP/2003): while SSM is waiting for the user's decision in the "Application Activity"
dialog, at the same time the user can launch other applications which have rules (enabling or disabling)
that do not require user interaction.

The concept of rule has been improved. Added a new rule attribute - "object type".
The object type can be one of: "SSM", "System", "Driver", "Library", "Application".
Depending on the type of an object the associated rules have different sets of options and special permissions.
