というエラーが表示されてしまいます。

hoge.cgiに直接アクセスすると正常に動作します。
hoge.cgiのprint部分を
print <<"EOM";
Content-type:text/html

Hello
EOM
としてindex.htmlにアクセスすると正常に表示されます。

何が原因でエラーとなってしまうのでしょうか？
