$data = file("http://www.hoge.com/hoge.html");
って感じでほかの鯖にある情報を取得して、ereg_replaceとかで整形してそれを自分のサイトのphpにinckudeして表示させるというスクリプトを作りました。
ローカルの鯖ではうまく行くんですが、自分のサイトを置いてる鯖ではこんなエラーが出ます。

Warning: file(): URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /home/xxx.users/hoge/hoge.php on line x

Warning: file(http://www.hoge.com/hoge.html): failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /home/xxx.users/hoge/hoge.php on line x

これは鯖の設定でこういう事は不可能ということですか？
ほかのサーバーのサイトのデータを取得して好きなように整形して使うのにほかに方法はありますか？
