リチャード・テイラー　（Richard Taylor, 1962年5月19日 - ）はイギリスの数学者。
ハーバード大学教授。1984年、ケンブリッジ大学卒業。1988年、プリンストン大学のアンドリュー・ワイルズのもとで学位を取得。
1995年から1996年までオックスフォード大学 Savilian Chair of Geometry に就いた。

アンドリュー・ワイルズによるフェルマーの最終定理の証明をサポートした。フェルマーの最終定理を証明した二つの論文のうち一つはテイラーとの共著によるもの。
他にも谷山・志村予想の証明。局所ラングランズ予想の証明などの数論における重要な結果を残している。 にも関わらずフィールズ賞を逃した。 最近、数論の超難問佐藤・テイト予想を解決した。

Personal life
Taylor is married to Christine Taylor (a mathematical biologist). They have two children: Jeremy and Chloe. He is also the son of British physicist, John C. Taylor.
