libpngは、

sudo make install
sudo ranlib /usr/local/lib/libpng12.a
でOKでした。

gdも全てyes表示されて、無事インストールできたんですが、

phpinfo()に表示されないです（涙
で、php4.3.4落としてきて./configureかけたら

checking for the location of libpng... no
checking for the location of libXpm... no

checking for FreeType 2... no
