AppleScriptを今日使い始めました。
QuickTimeムービーファイル群をドロップすると、
最近の書き出し設定にしたがって別のQuickTimeムービーに
書き出すスクリプトを作りました。

repeat with aFile in FileList
tell application "QuickTime Player"
with timeout of 3600 seconds
activate
open aFile
set newFile to ((aFile as text) & "_mp4.mov")
export movie 1 to file newFile as QuickTime movie using most recent settings
close window 1
end timeout

Q1. hoge.mov に対する保存先のファイル名を hoge.mov_mp4.mov
にしているのですが、これを hoge_mp4.mov にするにはどうしたら
よいでしょうか。
Q2. スクリプト全体に対する添削などありましたらご指摘お願いします。
