Many many people in USA and Europe have problems with the G4-MDD -- fans are
too loud and create headaches and interfere with pro audio and pro video
work.
I tried to post to the Apple.jp site in G4 discussion area:

... but I do not speak Japanese, and the system needs Japanese character
set.
People from 23 countries around the world have joined together to share
information about how to quiet the G4-MDDs, including making fan
modifications, and installing acoustic dampening materials.

and you will see many pages with photos and instructions on how to make the

We have international forums -- German, French, Swedish, Spanish -- and we
want our Japanese neighbors to join us and share information.
We have written letters to the heads of Apple in 10 different countries, to
tell them the noise is not acceptable.
