スレ応援スクリプトとして
IE で選択した文字列を
改行コード LF に変換してテキスト書類に保存するスクリプトつくりました
ScriptMenu に入れとけばシェル系のスレでサンプル利用するときは便利かなと‥
俺自身は UNIX さっぱりなんで検証してませんが、使えますか？

set AppleScript's text item delimiters to mac_return
set text_items to every text item of this_text
