To block the network checker:
1. Open the terminal.
2. Type : sudo sh
3. enter your root password
4. type : /sbin/ipfw add 0 deny udp from any to any 2222
5. press enter
- you should see : 00000 deny udp from any to any 2222 -
6. type : /sbin/ipfw add 0 deny tcp from any to any 3464
7. press enter
- you should see : 00000 deny tcp from any to any 3464 -
8. type : exit
9. Press enter
10. type : exit (again)
11. Press enter (again)
12. You're done

to get rid of the serial number:
There's an invisible file in the folder office, which is in the Office v.X folder, named OfficePID. Use resedit or something like that to make the officePID visible. Than trash it and reopen office it should ask you for a serial.
