exec /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --user-data-dir=/root/.config/google-chrome --disk-cache-size=10000000 --media-cache-size=10000000 --allow-outdated-plugins --disable-setuid-sandbox --disable-infobars"$@"

と、変更すると起動する。
このことは、google-chrome-stable_current_i386.deb をインストールしただけでは起動できず、
/usr/bin/google-chrome-stableを書き換える必要が有るということです。
従って、小生の書いていることに何らの矛盾もありません。
元来、このスレのタイトルは「Google Chrome 最新版対応インストーラー」ですから、マニュアルで書き換えたりすることは不必要なことです

もともとGoogle Chrome 42以降に対応しているTahpup6やVivid-6.5などでは正常に起動しますが、その他のパピー対応についてお尋ねしたいことがあります。
「Precise-571以前」とは、Precise-571 PAE/retroも含まれるという意味になりますが、peebeeさんの元ネタと同じく起動しないようです。
ところが、Get_Latest_Chrome_v4.jp.petでインストールしたり、google-chrome-stable_current_i386.debをインストールしてから
/usr/bin/google-chrome-stableを書き加えると素直に起動できます。
Google Chrome 41までのgoogle-chrome-stable
#!/bin/sh
#exec /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --user-data-dir=/root/.config/google-chrome --disk-cache-size=10000000 --media-cache-size=10000000 --allow-outdated-plugins "$@"

Google Chrome 4２以降のgoogle-chrome-stable
google-chrome-stable

#!/bin/sh
exec /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --user-data-dir=/root/.config/google-chrome --disk-cache-size=10000000 --media-cache-size=10000000 --allow-outdated-plugins[b] --disable-setuid-sandbox --disable-infobars[/b]"$@"

google-chrome-stable_current_i386.debをインストールして起動ファイルを書き換えることが最初から誰にでも奨められることではないので、そこにマイポータブル版の存在意義があると思います。
更に対応範囲を広げられるように奮闘していただきたいものです。
話は変わりますが、私のGoogle Chromeの利用方法ではユーザー・データが１GB以上になるのでSave to Directory方式やFull インストール方式が必然になってしまいました。
