Our final performer was violinist Ayako Ishikawa.
Born in Japan in 1984, Ayako began playing violin at three years
of age and moved to London two years later where she studied at the
exclusive Purcell School. Following five years of tuition in the United
Kingdom, Ayako returned to Japan to study at the Toho School of Music. During this time, she was
awarded numerous violin prizes and was a finalist in the All Japan
Classical Music Competition. In 1999, Ayako moved to Australia and began learning from
her current teacher, AlexTodicescu.
