As we continue to build upon our artistic vision, we are moving forward with our search
for the next music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Our goal is to bring the
best leader to Chicago - someone who demonstrate superlative musicianship and who is
dedicated to preserving and nurturing the artistic excellence of the CSO. The search
committee, made up of musicians, board, and staff, meets regularly, and I am pleased to
say that we are making great progress. All of the regular feedback from our audience,
members, whether in person, via e-mail or post, has been valuable and we continue to
take these thoughts to our committee.
