You have purchased tickets for the Orchestra Concert on 9th of May
with Bernard Haitink. The conductor Bernard Haitink has informed us,
that by heart attack, he will have to cancel his appearance.
We respect his decision and would like to announce that:

Hiroshi Wakasugi will be performing instead.
The programm stays the same.

Hiroshi Wakasugi, born in Tokyo in 1935 and student of Hideo Saito
and Norbert Kaneko, is one of the most prominent conductors in his
home country of Japan.
Mr.Wakasugi was General Music Director of the German Opera on the
Rhein in Dusseldorf. The Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich named him
Artistic Director and Principal Conductor from 1987 through 1991.
From 1982 through 1991,
Hiroshi Wakasugi waspermanent conductor at the State Opera and
Staatskapelle Dresden.

In principle, tickets cannot be returned if there is a change
of cast or programm, but we are well aware that you might have
ordered tickets because of Bernard Haitink’s appearance.
If this is the case we will reimburse the purchased ticket price.
Please fill in the attached form and send them together with the
tickets. Tickets sent after 15th April cannot be reimbursed.
If you cannot return the tickets out of time reason, you can
return them at the box office until 9th May.
Tickets returned after that date cannot be reimbursed.

If we do not hear from you, we assume, that you will keep the tickets.
