Isabelle Faust with Silke Avenhaus (CPO 999 597 2)
She's everything that I wish she be. A great recording!

Also, I recommend the followings;

Alban Beikircher/Benedikt Koehlen (Arte Nova 74321 80774 2).
His instrument, Dominicus Montagnana from venice 1729, is not
so bright as Isabelle's strad, and so is his technical ability. Still,
his account of these sonata should be considered highly recom-
mendable for its aggressive reading...and reasonable pricing.

Ara Malikian/Serouji Kradjian (Haenssler Classis CD 98.355),
They are both from Armenia and have slightly differnt accents,
and I felt they found the new charm of Schumann's music. But,
the performance of Sonate No3. Op. Poth. is not so good as the
performance of the other two sonata. Probably, under-rehearsed.
