I simply asked "How was the performance of Schumann's Symphony No. 4, as played
by Sawallisch and the NHK Symphony Orchestra last week? "

Here in Israel, Sawallisch took up the piece a couple of years ago. The performance
was really intensive and awe-inspiring. The maestro was admired both by the
orchestra musicians and the audience.

Obviously he loved to conduct the piece, but that was not what I wanted to say.
