Concert In F, the An American In Paris, and the Symphnic Picture of "Porgy And
Bess". In several of these cities, two programs were needed to satisfy public demand
and Miss Bianca and the orchestra added the Variations On "I Got Rhythm", the Sec-
ond Rhapsody, the Cuban Overture, and the Three Preludes to their repertoire. All
of this music has been recorded for MGM Records by these forces and are available
on three 12-inch long-playing records (each available singly). The other two records
in the series, which, together with this recording, survey in recorded form all of Gersh-
win's "serious"music, are:
