I checked out Supernatural's dynamics with a Dorrough AES/EBU meter,
which shows peak and average levels. Like those of almost all CDs
these days, Supernatural's peak levels lit the 0dBFS LED on
the meter (which actually indicates 3LSBs below maximum level).
All mastering engineers do this to squeeze the maximum resolution
out of the CD medium, and it's what I do with Stereophile's CDs.

今日制作されるほとんどすべてのＣＤと同じようにSupernaturalのピークレベル
はこのメーターの表示で 0dBFS LED (これは最大ピークよりも3LSBs下の値)
[複数のピークレベル値の平均という意味のようです]であった。
このようなピークレベルの設定は[適切なもので]、現行ＣＤ規格で
最大の情報を獲得するためにすべてのマスタリング・エンジニアが行っていること
であり、私が制作した StereophileのＣＤでも同じである。
